“The display will feature the full suite of C4I (command, control, communications, computers and intelligence) applications, communication networks, armoured vehicle, soldier systems and helicopter solutions at Land Forces 2021,” Mr McLachlan said.

“This work is carried out right here in Australia by ELSA’s 250-strong workforce, which includes 100 systems and software engineers, to deliver sovereign defence capability to Australia.”
ELSA’s Land Forces 2021 display will showcase our latest developments in machine-assisted decision making using Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms, data population and automation, target acquisition and engagement systems.
“These capabilities combine to deliver digitally-enabled warfighting advantages from the headquarters to the individual soldier,” Mr McLachlan said.
“We also have a vision to conduct research and development at our new Centre of Excellence in Melbourne to develop highly advanced autonomous solutions that will build home-grown capabilities for defence forces, homeland security and emergency services.”
