Anna Barba Becomes CEO of Elbit Systems of Australia

Elbit Systems of Australia appoints Anna Barba as its new CEO.

Elbit Systems of Australia is pleased to announce that, following a rigorous selection process, Anna Barba has been appointed as its new CEO.  Anna brings a wealth of senior executive experience, having served in a variety of leadership, engineering and program delivery roles in Australia and overseas, in a career spanning more than three decades. 

Anna has an enviable track record, having successfully led multi-disciplinary teams in a multinational defence contractor in delivering large, complex programs for the benefit of the Commonwealth of Australia, UK Ministry Of Defence, French Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Navy.  She has a particular interest in the maritime sector, having led the delivery and sustainment of some of the Royal Australian Navy’s most significant capability.  She holds a Masters in Science of Project Management, postgraduate qualification in Systems Engineering Information Technology and Bachelor of Accounting and Business Management.

Anna will lead Elbit Systems of Australia, driving new business growth in Australia.  She will work closely with the parent company, Elbit Systems Ltd, and with ELSA’s board, led by the Acting Chair AVM (ret’d) Kym Osley AM CSC.
